Historic renovation consisting of renovating a total of 64,000 square feet of various substrates, both interior and exterior. This particular customer was looking for a paint contractor who could, within the guidelines of the State Historic Preservation Standards, help with the renovation of a historical building constructed in 1896 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They chose M.V. Klinger Painting Co., Inc.

After weeks of product trials and multiple preparation methods, Klinger Painting had found the least-invasive, proper solutions for removing the many different types of paint, coatings, and other building materials from the existing masonry, steel, and wood surfaces, ultimately exposing the aesthetic and historic value of this building's original facade.

In partnership with this customer, we were able to not only restore a historic building, but contribute to reviving a neighborhood by providing an attractive, alternative housing within the community.
